Cyber Security Overview
Overview: This one to two year program is designed to prepare students for a career in the fast growing Computer Science and Cyber Security Industry. Students will gain knowledge and experience in Linux, computer hardware, networking, programming, and security. Integration of Microsoft Windows based computers will also be included in this course. HTML, Python, C/C++, SQL, Java, PHP, and Javascript (NodeJS) will used to teach fundamentals of computer programming. Linux Bash along with applications such as nano, vi, ssh, ftp and systemctl will be a major emphasis in this program. First and second year student will be required to create a and Cisco( account. This course will give foundations in an array of Computer Science concepts with an emphasis in security. Most students will need additionally training to enter the work force fallowing this Cyber Security.
